The Grandparents Community Network is expanding its national leadership and program team. We are seeking passionate, purpose-driven professionals to join us in empowering grandparents raising grandchildren through advocacy, education, and community care. Perfect for Interns and those who want to volunteer under a probationary period prior to employment offer. You must be willing to communicate effectively, build cohesiveness within the TGCN team and answer and return all phone calls and emails in a timely manner. You must demonstrate a heart to serve and passion for the mission of The Grandparents Community Network.

Board of Directors (5 Seats)

We are seeking visionary leaders with experience as a former CEO, CFO, or senior organizational leader. Board members provide governance, strategic oversight, and stewardship to advance TGCN’s mission nationwide.

Care Pastor

Oversees the emotional and spiritual care of caregivers within TGCN. Provides prayer, encouragement, and pastoral support to grandparents and kinship families.

Grief Counselor

Supports families and caregivers through loss, trauma, and transition. Leads group and one-on-one grief recovery sessions.

Accountant

Manages organizational finances, ensuring transparency, compliance, and accuracy in reporting for all TGCN programs and initiatives.

Medical Advisors

Licensed medical professionals providing consultation on caregiver and child health, trauma-informed care, and wellness initiatives.

Psychologist

Offers insight and training on mental and emotional well-being for children raised by grandparents, helping guide trauma and behavioral strategies.

Counselor

Provides therapeutic support and guidance to caregivers and families in need of short-term counseling and referraCrisis Counselor.

Responds to urgent family crises, offering immediate emotional support and coordination with local service providers.

Trauma Care Program Manager

Leads implementation of Healing Roots and other trauma-informed programs across TGCN, ensuring high standards of care and cultural sensitivity. Mentorship Matching Director

Oversees TGCN’s Mentorship and Bright Futures After-School Program, connecting youth and caregivers with mentors who share lived experiences and values.

Human Resources Director

Develops policies, manages volunteer onboarding, compliance, and builds a thriving culture of compassion and excellence within TGCN.

Health Reach Manager

Coordinates Healthy Reach 55+, a wellness program supporting grandparents with health education, screenings, and holistic care opportunities.

Event Coordinator

Plans and executes local and national TGCN events — including summits, brunches, campaigns, and community outreach initiatives, public speaking is a a requirement to be considered.

Fundraising & Partnership Development

Cultivates donor relationships, corporate partnerships, and community collaborations to sustain TGCN’s mission and impact.

Administrative Assistants (3 Positions)

Supports daily operations, scheduling, communications, and program coordination. Ideal for detail-oriented, organized individuals passionate about service.

Community Liaisons (3 Positions)

Serves as the bridge between TGCN and local communities, ensuring families receive timely resources, information, and engagement opportunities.

Media Relations

Manages TGCN’s communication strategy, press releases, media partnerships, and storytelling efforts across multiple platforms.

Responsible for shaping TGCN’s public image, coordinating interviews, and strengthening media engagement for national visibility.

Technical Website Management & Development

To develop and build TGCN’s Technology Department.

Maintains and improves the TGCN website ecosystem — including TGCN Corporate, Grangel World, and GCN Youth platforms.

Oversees technology infrastructure, innovation, data management, and system integration to advance TGCN’s digital strategy. Maintains and improves the TGCN website ecosystem — including TGCN CorporateGrangel World, and GCN Youth platforms.

Responsibilities also include technical updates, web security, layout design, plug-in integrations, and optimizing user experience across all platforms.
